AWIO President

Jessica Chewe is the dynamic founder and CEO of the African Women International Organisation (AWIO), where she channels her entrepreneurial spirit into transformative leadership. She holds a Bachelor of Applied Social Science (Majoring in Psychology and Business Management), a Diploma in Secretariat, a Certificate in Pharmaceuticals, and a Certificate in Counselling and Communication Skills. She successfully oversees a diverse portfolio of ventures, including Trucking and Logistics, Travel and Tours, cross-border commercial trading, and the Pharmaceutical and medical equipment industries. Jessica is passionately devoted to empowering families. She leads initiatives in marriage counselling, child development especially for young girls and critical support for orphaned and abused children. A fierce advocate against drug and alcohol abuse, she is renowned for her boundless energy, positive mental outlook, and sharp problem-solving abilities. Jessica's talent for building strong networks and cohesive teams makes her a formidable force driving AWIO's mission forward.

Jane Walitubana

Board Member & Director

Jane Walitubana is a multifaceted leader with a wealth of experience as an operations support banker, entrepreneur, educationist, farmer, caregiver, and counsellor. Her journey, from being educated in Zambia's rural schools to earning academic credentials at the University of Zambia, exemplifies resilience and determination. Jane's qualifications in education, caregiving, and counselling have enabled her to make significant contributions across multiple sectors. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Jane has strategically invested in real estate and livestock projects, underscoring her entrepreneurial acumen. Her steadfast determination, coupled with her expertise in education, entrepreneurship, and holistic care, positions her as a vital asset to AWIO. Jane's skills are set to profoundly impact the lives of African women, driving the organisation's vision of empowerment and support.

Collins Tutì

Founding Member and Non-Executive Member of AWIO, Operations Leader

Collins Tutti is a founding member and non-executive member of the African Women International Organisation (AWIO), bringing a wealth of expertise in operations and sustainable tourism. Born in Kenya, he holds an Honors degree in Tourism Management from Moi University, specialising in Destination Development, Planning, Marketing, and Sustainable Tourism. As the Director of Roar Global Expeditions and Stream Africa Safaris, established in 2012, Collins has championed responsible tourism that uplifts local communities and preserves Africa's cultural and natural heritage. His previous roles include management positions at Monsoon Travel and Tours and Sime Equipment Enterprises in Nairobi. Driven by a passion for society, culture, heritage, and environmental conservation, Collins is dedicated to promoting sustainable development and empowering African communities through tourism and cultural initiatives.

Pamela Singh

Strategic Visionary and Advocate for Societal Progress

Pamela Singh, the Vice President of AWIO and Operations leader, is a strategic visionary with a deep commitment to societal progress. Pamela’s extensive expertise in political science and public administration, combined with her outstanding academic credentials—holding a master’s in political science (candidate), a BA Honours in Political Science and African Politics (cum laude), and a BA in Political Science, Political Philosophy, and Economics—positions her as a formidable advocate for transformative change. Pamela is a transformative leader with a strong track record in managing high-impact government projects, excelling in policy review, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement. Her dedication to community engagement and human rights drives her work, making her a force for societal change. Beyond her professional achievements, Pamela is deeply committed to social responsibility, leading initiatives that support vulnerable populations and enhance educational opportunities. Her leadership is defined by resilience, a results-driven approach, and a commitment to excellence, showcasing her versatility and dedication to improving lives through strategic and compassionate action.

Elizabeth Chembe

Board Member & Director

Elizabeth Chembe is a seasoned administrator with over 45 years of experience in both corporate and diplomatic missions. Her career is highlighted by her distinguished service as President of the Secretaries Association in Zambia, where she demonstrated exceptional leadership and organisational skills. Elizabeth is a respected voice on issues related to empowering young women, particularly in preparing them for marriage and life challenges. She has been a sought-after speaker on platforms addressing the development of the girl child and counselling young women. Although retired, Elizabeth remains actively involved in counselling, continuing her lifelong commitment to supporting and guiding others through her invaluable expertise.

Ina Mozhendi

Board Member & Director

Ina Mozhendi is a distinguished development professional with over two decades of expertise in managing large-scale contracts, public-private partnerships, and donor-funded initiatives. Throughout her career, she has successfully led more than 300 projects, demonstrating exceptional skill in strategic management, financial oversight, and team leadership across diverse contexts in Africa. Ina’s ability to negotiate complex grant mechanisms and foster impactful partnerships has earned her grant management, project planning, and strategic collaboration accolades. Holding an MBA and additional certifications in development management, Ina combines academic rigor with practical experience to drive sustainable development outcomes. She has contributed to the field through her insightful writings on effective development strategies and community engagement, notably under the Roger Federer Foundation. Ina's leadership and vision continue to shape programs that promote economic growth, social equity, and meaningful collaboration between public and private sectors.
